The turbine a that we visited is a RRB Energy PS-600 600kW model installed for a stone quarry company, William Stone Company. The turbine was installed at June 2009 and from that time to present it has been producing electricity for the company's electricity consumption and any surplus energy is being sent back in to the grid and sold. The 600kW wind turbine is being manufactured by RRB Energy as a result of a joint venture and partnership between Vestas, Denmark and RRB. The 500kW and 600kW models are rebranded Vestas V47.
